Established on January 10, 2014 by Lloyd Francis who felt there was a strong lack of news for the city of Westland and the surrounding communities. The Westland Community News digital newspaper has grown to be the leading voice for Westland News in the area. Known for it’s timely news, sharp humor and willingness to support the city and the people who make it great.

Westland Community News is proud to have readers not only inWestland, but Wayne, Livonia, Garden City, Canton and more! WCN support not only Westland but all of the residents in our area!

We stay informed. i get more info from WCN then I do city hall/the actual city not knocking Westland as I choose to live here im just saying… so thank youuuuu WCN! And you mean biz. Like when your asked to take down a post but know the citizens deserve to know. things get updated/ reworded but not taken down . Thank you
